Backing Up and Restoring QuickBooks Company Files
If you use QuickBooks and you have the SmartVault Desktop software installed on your local computer, you can back up and restore QuickBooks company files.
SmartVault QuickBooks company file backup and restore capabilities ensure that you always have a safe, secure, off-site backup copy of your important QuickBooks company files, including any documents that you may have attached to your QuickBooks company files using the SmartVault Toolbar. Once you back up your QuickBooks company files, you can access your QuickBooks company file backups in the following ways:
Use the restore feature in the SmartVault Desktop software to restore your backed up QuickBooks company file to your computer or another computer. For more information, see “Restoring QuickBooks Company Files” .
Use the SmartVault Drive to obtain a copy of the zipped QuickBooks company file backup. For more information, see “Using the SmartVault Drive to Obtain QuickBooks Company File Backups” .
