Bookkeeping Services Firm Vault and Folder Structure
In this example, assume that you provide bookkeeping services for clients. For example, you offer bookkeeping services to client who have business such as restaurant franchises, construction companies, and non-profit organizations that have offices in various cities.
In this scenario, you have an internal vault that contains folders for the standard forms, policies and procedures, marketing collateral, and more used by your company.
You also create a vault for each client. In each client vault, you store the QuickBooks company file for each location, as well as create folders for documents needing approval, documents to be processed, completed documents, employee W2 forms, employee pay stubs, and more.
