Identifying Color Values to Use for Background, Text, and Link Colors
If you already have an existing Web site, you may want to use some of the same colors on your SmartVault custom-branded portal.
SmartVault provides a color picker on the SmartVault Customize Branding page that allows you to use the following types of color pickers to specify the colors you want to use for background, text, and link colors:
Web Palette
RGB Sliders (Red, Green Blue)
HSB (Hue, Saturation, Brightness)
HSV (Hue, Saturation, and Value)
Simply select the tab for the color picker you want to use, and then type in the appropriate values.
If you want to use some of the same colors on your custom-branded portal that you use on your existing Web site but you don’t know the color values and you are running Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 on your computer, you can use a free program called Paint, which is automatically installed on most Windows Vista and Windows 7 computers, to help you identify color values.
