Mapping a SmartVault Drive on Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server Computers
In Windows XP, the process of “mapping a drive” is called “creating a Network Place.”
This topic explains how to create a Network Place for the SmartVault Drive on Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server computers. For more information about SmartVault Drives, see “Understanding and Mapping SmartVault Drives” .
 
To map a SmartVault drive on a Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server:
1. On the Start menu, open My Network Places.
2. Click Add Network Place, and then click Next.
3. Click Choose another network location…, and then click Next.
4. In the Internet or Network address field, type https://docs.smartvault.com, and then click Next.
5. Type your SmartVault user ID and password, select the Remember my password check box, and then click OK.
6. Type your password again, then click OK.
7. Type SmartVault Drive for the drive name, and then click Next.
8. Click Finish.
9. Open your Network Places from the Start menu to browse your SmartVault accounts, folders, and documents.
