Scanning Documents into Folders Using the SmartVault Inbox and TWAIN-Compliant Scanners
You can use TWAIN-compliant scanners attached to your local computer or on a network to quickly scan and upload documents into folders in your SmartVault portal using the SmartVault Inbox.
Because most TWAIN-compliant scanners are plug-and-play, typically all you need to do is connect the TWAIN-compliant scanner to your computer or the network, select the scanner from the drop-down list in the SmartVault Inbox, and then scan. Typically no additional configuration is required. For more information about connecting your TWAIN-compliance computer to your computer or the network, see your scanner documentation. For more information about the types of TWAIN-compliant scanners SmartVault supports, see
“Supported Scanners” .
