Verifying Logo Sizes
The logos you specify for your portal header, or masthead, and your email header cannot be larger than 240 pixels in width or 60 pixels in height.
Note: Most users choose to use the same logo for both headers.
If you are running Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 on your computer, you can use a free program called Paint, which is automatically installed on most Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 computers, to verify the size of your logo.
To verify your logo size:
1. Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint.
2. If you are running Windows XP or Windows Vista, complete the following steps:
a. On the File menu, click Open.
b. Browse to your logo, and then select your logo and click Open.
c. On the Image menu, click Attributes.
d. In the Units area, click Pixels.
e. If the value in the Width field is greater than 240 pixels or the value in the Height field is greater than 60 pixels, resize your logo. For more information, see
“Resizing Logos” .
3. If you are running Windows 7, complete the following steps:
a. Click the Application button next to the Home tab, and then click Open.
b. Browse to your logo, and then select your logo and click Open.
c. On the Home tab, click Resize.
d. Click Pixels.
e. If the value in the Horizontal field is greater than 240 pixels or the value in the Vertical field is greater than 60 pixels, resize your logo.
Note: Do not resize your logo using Paint. Use a different graphics application to resize your logo. Resizing images in Paint will degrade the quality of your image. For more information about resizing logos, see
