Viewing and Downloading Documents Using the SmartVault Drive
You can use the same familiar process you use to view documents on any other drive on your local computer or network to view and download documents using your SmartVault Drive.
To view and download a document using the SmartVault Drive:
1. Map a SmartVault Drive.
Note: You only need to map a SmartVault Drive once. However, you must map a drive before you can upload documents to your SmartVault portal using your SmartVault Drive.

2. If you use Windows, open Windows Explorer.
3. If you use Mac, open Mac Finder.
4. Select your SmartVault Drive.
5. Browse to the vault or folder that contains the document you want to view or download.
6. Double-click on the document to open it.
7. If you are prompted to enter a user name and password, enter your SmartVault user ID and password, and then click OK.
8. If you want to view the document, click Open.
9. If you want to download the document, click Save.
