Error: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {FC3C4882-C13E-46E7-96F1-CEE3133207B7).
This behavior usually occurs if one or more QuickBooks dlls are not properly registered in the Windows system. To register the QuickBooks dlls, run the "Reboot.bat" file found in %ProgramFiles%\Intuit\QuickBooks > QuickBooks version:
- Close QuickBooks and Exit out of SmartVault.
- Right click on the shortcut or icon for the QuickBooks version that is affected.
- Click on Properties.
- On the Shortcut tab click on "Find Target" or "Fine File Location" button.
- Scroll down the file list and find the file named "reboot.bat" or "reboot".
- Double-click on this file and let it run until the DOS window closes automatically.
- Restart QuickBooks and sign into SmartVault.
