Error:.COMException (0x8004041A): This application does not have permission to access this QuickBooks com - Visit SmartVault.com Message.
This seems to be a permissions issue in QuickBooks. To resolve this problem, you must be Admin to integrate SmartVault with the company file.
  1. Login as Admin to the QuickBooks company file.
  2. Change the company file from multi-user mode to single user mode.
  3. Click Edit > Preferences > Integrated Applications > Company Preferences tab.
  4. If you don't see SmartVault listed, close QB.
  5. If you do see SmartVault listed there, select it and remove it then close QuickBooks.
  6. Exit out of SmartVault (How do I exit the SmartVault application?)
  7. Integrate SmartVault with the QuickBooks company file. (How do I integrate SmartVault with QuickBooks?)
