Error:.COMException (0x8004041A): This application does not have permission to access this QuickBooks com - Visit SmartVault.com Message.
This seems to be a permissions issue in QuickBooks. To resolve this problem, you must be Admin to integrate SmartVault with the company file.
- Login as Admin to the QuickBooks company file.
- Change the company file from multi-user mode to single user mode.
- Click Edit > Preferences > Integrated Applications > Company Preferences tab.
- If you don't see SmartVault listed, close QB.
- If you do see SmartVault listed there, select it and remove it then close QuickBooks.
- Exit out of SmartVault (How do I exit the SmartVault application?)
- Integrate SmartVault with the QuickBooks company file. (How do I integrate SmartVault with QuickBooks?)
