Introducing Quoters and Docdown!

Quoters and Docdown are out of the Beta stage, and SmartVault is releasing them for general availability. These two productivity tools will help you automate and improve your business workflow.



    • Quoters and Docdown are paid add-ons for all customers on Accounting Pro and Business Pro plans. 
    • Customers on the Enterprise plan get both tools enabled at no cost.
    • Customers can self-service to get them by upgrading their SmartVault subscription.

Quoters offers a quick and easy way to integrate the quoting and storage of approved quotes into SmartVault.



Docdown offers an easy creation process and an automated workflow to create professional, brand-consistent PDF files that your clients can fill directly into SmartVault.

Prevent uploading QBW files to SmartVault

To improve the user experience and potential risk to a customer's account, we are now preventing users from uploading QBW files directly to SmartVault. To upload a QBW file, use the QuickBooks Backup/Restore feature

A clear message with instructions displays when attempting to upload a QBW file to SmartVault via the Connected Desktop or Portal.

What was fixed?

Rename or Delete client name with more than 75 characters

Users can delete and rename a client whose name has more than 75 characters without receiving an error.

When accessing the Settings>Security Enhancements page, the links on the page and confirmation dialog go to the correct support article in the help center.

The links to Public Documents and Internal Documents on the Settings page now redirect the user to the new Files and Folders view.
