STANDARD PLAN USER
The Email Link feature in SmartVault allows you to quickly and securely email file links to clients from the Connected Desktop. This feature streamlines file sharing by providing clients a convenient link to access the document.
Important
Ensure the client is already activated in SmartVault before using the Email Link feature.
Using Email Link in the Connected Desktop
- Open the SmartVault Connected Desktop.
- Locate the File to Share:
- Navigate to the client's vault and find the file you want to share using Email Link.
- Use the Email Link Option:
- Right-click on the file, hover over Send to, and select Email Link to...
- Alternatively, click the Send to option in the toolbar and choose Email Link to.
- Right-click on the file, hover over Send to, and select Email Link to...
- Select Recipient and Send:
- Your default email application will open with a link to the file in the email body.
- Enter the recipient's email address and click Send to share the link.
- Your default email application will open with a link to the file in the email body.
