Docdown Update
This release focuses on improvements and bug fixes for Docdown, our add-on designed to streamline your workflow. Read on for the details on what’s improved.
What was updated?
Owner Role and Billing Page Removed
We've streamlined account management by replacing the "Owner" role with "Admin" and removing the billing page. Existing Owner users have been updated to Admin, and all new accounts now default to Admin, ensuring consistency with our SmartVault integration.
What was fixed?
Clear Message for Inactive Workflows
We've updated inactive workflows so that instead of a greyed-out submit button, you now see a clear message indicating the form isn't active. This prevents any confusion and stops you from wasting time on a form that can't be submitted.
Correct Configuration for Download Button
We've fixed the issue where the download button appeared regardless of your settings. Now, if you choose not to display it after submission, it won't show up—ensuring your form behaves just as you intended.
Document Display Now Reflects Your Choice
We fixed the issue where the document always appeared next to your form. Now, if you set "Display the document next to the form?" to "No," the document stays hidden, and it only shows when set to "Yes".
Email Editing Disabled for Enhanced Integration
We've disabled email editing in Docdown to protect your account integrity. Now, the email field under Settings > Team Members displays as non-editable, preventing any changes that could disrupt your SmartVault integration.
If you need to update an email, follow these steps:
- An Administrator removes the user from Docdown.
- The user updates their email through SmartVault’s standard process.
- The Administrator re-adds the user to Docdown.
Note
Updating a user's email will impact any workflows created by that user, but documents remain unaffected.
Dashboard Displays Despite Incomplete Workflows
We've resolved the issue where incomplete workflows caused a blank Dashboard. Now, even if some workflow steps aren’t fully configured, you'll still see your Dashboard when you log in or navigate via the left navigation.
Preventing Unsaved Steps from Crashing Workflows
We've updated the workflow creation process to block adding a new step without saving your current one. Now, you'll avoid a blank page and potential loss of work if a step isn’t saved before moving on.
