SmartScan lets you quickly capture and digitize documents directly from your mobile device without a traditional scanner. This article outlines the system requirements and supported browsers to ensure optimal performance.
Note
Mobile devices do not connect to the SmartVault Connected Desktop.
To upload documents from your phone, use the SmartVault Portal.

Supported Devices and Browsers
SmartScan is optimized for mobile devices with the following browsers:

Language Support
- English: Full support for standard Latin characters.
- Character Limitations: Special characters like "ñ" may appear incorrectly in scan results.
- Unsupported Languages: Asian characters and non-Latin alphabets are not currently supported.
