What's new?
SmartVault Browser Extension for QBO
-
Add QBO Company File to SmartVault Made Easy
After authorizing QuickBooks Online, users can now add their QBO company file to SmartVault using a guided step-by-step flow—starting with a Folder + icon on the toolbar. -
Prevent Duplicate Company File Provisioning
Added error handling to block users from linking a QBO company file that’s already associated with another SmartVault account. Users will see a clear message if the file is already in use. -
Guidance for Unsupported Pages
The QBO extension now displays a helpful message when users navigate to a page without a supported transaction or record ID, ensuring clarity when toolbar actions like Attach or View aren’t available. -
Document Counts Now Displayed
The View Documents and Inbox buttons in the toolbar now display badge counts when documents are available, providing users with quick visibility without requiring a click. Counts update dynamically based on the current transaction or record. -
File Name and Description Fields Now Save Properly
Fixed an issue where editing only the description of a newly uploaded attachment would unintentionally clear the file name. Now, both fields can be updated and saved independently. -
Message for Unsaved Transactions
Users now see a message prompting them to save the transaction in QuickBooks Online before attaching documents, preventing confusion and lost time.
New Message When Cloning Folder Templates
Users now see a clear message when cloning a folder template, letting them know that cloned templates cannot be deleted.
What was fixed?
Guest View: Request Docs Link Now Loads Correctly
Fixed an issue where the Request Docs link wouldn’t appear in the left navigation if a guest user accessed SmartVault via an email link. The correct navigation now loads regardless of the entry point.
