Can I store my database files (like QuickBooks or Microsoft Access) in SmartVault?

While SmartVault can be used to back up and store your database files, it is very important to note that running these files directly from SmartVault is not possible.

SmartVault is designed to store your documents and should not be considered an alternative to a network drive for running multi-user database applications, such as Microsoft Access or QuickBooks.

For QuickBooks users, it's essential to understand that storing QBW files directly in SmartVault is not supported. To store a QBW file, you can use the QuickBooks Backup/Restore feature to create a backup file and upload it to SmartVault. This process ensures your data is safely stored while avoiding potential issues with running the file directly from SmartVault.
