Setting Filters for the Client List and Client Engagements

Overview

You can choose the filters to apply to view your list of clients and client engagements in the SmartVault Portal.

Setting Filters

  1. Sign in to the SmartVault Portal.
  2. Right-click on your account and select View Dashboard.

  Note

If you have your View Preferences set to "2020 New View", visit the sections: Client Status Filter tabs and Filters of Navigating the New Client Management.

Filtering the Client List

  1. Click Client Engagements on the SmartVault Dashboard main page.
  2. Click the Edit filters icon located in the top corner.
  3. You can choose to view clients based on the type of client or the status of the client's invitation to join your SmartVault account. Click each checkbox to select or deselect that type of client or the client's invitation status.
  4. When you've finished selecting filters, click Apply to set these filters.

Filtering Client Engagements

  1. Click Clients Engagements on the SmartVault Dashboard main page.
  2. Click the Edit filters icon located in the top corner.
  3. You can choose to view client engagements based on the following criteria:
    • Type of client (tax type - only applies to tax clients)
    • Type of engagement
    • Whether or not the Income Tax statement has been shared with the client (only applies to tax clients)
    • Whether or not the Client and Government tax return copy has been printed for the client (only applies to tax clients)
    • Year (Beginning year, Ending year)
