Opening a Client in the Portal from Connected Desktop

You can open a client profile in the Client Portal directly from the Connected Desktop. Often this can help you by utilizing the search capabilities within the Connected Desktop to locate a client in a large client list. You can then easily make changes in the Client Portal to that client, such as updating an email address.

  1. Search for a client in the Connected Desktop.
  2. Right-click on the client and select Open client in Portal.

The client profile opens in your web browser.

  Note

you might need to sign in to the SmartVault Client Portal if you have not already signed in.
