Sometimes, when the SmartVault client is updating itself, you may get the following message:
Please close the SmartVault Client Updater window before exiting.
This error appears because SmartVault cannot stop its service because of an open window.
Resolving This Error
To resolve this, close the SmartVault updater window and continue to complete the update.
If that does not fix the issue, get a new copy of SmartVault from the Client portal.
