You may receive the following error code 0×80040416 when opening QuickBooks with SmartVault.
If QuickBooks is not running, a call to the
BeginSession method must include the name of the QuickBooks company data file.
Resolving This Error
To resolve this issue:
- Open QuickBooks with the appropriate company file.
- Configure QuickBooks to accept automatic logins from the Integrated Applications window in QuickBooks.
