Retrieving the Activation Email

GENERAL USER

If you recently signed up for SmartVault or were invited to an account, you'll receive an activation email from notify@my.smartvault.com. Follow the steps below to retrieve it if you haven't received it.

Steps to Retrieve the Activation Email

  1. Visit the Sign-In Page:
    • Go to my.smartvault.com.
    • Enter your email address and a random password, then click Sign In.
  2. Review the On-Screen Message:
    • You will see the User Not Active page if your account has not been activated.

    • Review the message and follow the instructions on the screen to get the activation email.
    • Click the SmartVault logo to return to the Sign In page.
  3. Check Your Email: 
    • Look for the activation email in your inbox. If you don't see it, check your spam/junk folders.
  4. Resend the Email or Reset Your Password:
    • If you've already created a password, use the Can't Sign In? option on the login page to reset it.
  5. Verify Your Email Address:
    • Confirm with the person who invited you that your email address was entered correctly.

Additional Tips

  • Add notify@my.smartvault.com to your safe senders' list or address book to help ensure delivery.
  • Contact your email provider or IT administrator to release blocked emails from this address.
  • Activation emails typically arrive within 15 minutes but may take up to an hour.
  • If issues persist, contact SmartVault Support with your email address and the approximate time the invitation was sent.
