Modifying Email Templates for Customers

General Formatting Rules

You must start with %BEGINITEM%Content%ENDITEM% (begin, and end must be on the same line):

%BEGINITEM% and %ENDITEM% create a return line.

Examples:

in >> %BEGINITEM%%FIRSTNAME%%ENDITEM%%BEGINITEM%More text!!!%ENDITEM%
out << "Casey Jones
More text!!!"

in >> %BEGINITEM%%FIRSTNAME%ENDITEM%
%BEGINITEM%More text!!!%ENDITEM%

out << "Casey Jones

More text!!!"

You can format text brought in by %ITEMS%, but you must apply the formatting to
all characters, including the opening and closing % signs.

Note: You cannot get rid of the email footer (e.g., "Need Additional Help?").
