Creating Vaults and a Folder Structure Using the SmartVault Drive

Overview

You can create your vault and folder structure that you want in SmartVault on your computer using File Explorer. After you are finished, you can move it to SmartVault.

Moving Your File Structure to SmartVault Using the SmartVault Drive

When you have the initial structure you want, you can easily copy the vault and folder into SmartVault using the SmartVault Drive.

The SmartVault Drive lets you access your files from SmartVault directly from File Explorer on your computer. This can save you time when you move files between your desktop and SmartVault.

You can map the SmartVault Drive on Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 or later, Microsoft 2008 and 2012 Servers, and MAC OS X.

For information on mapping and using the SmartVault Drive, see Mapping the SmartVault Drive.
