Customizing Your Personal Settings

Overview

It's easy to customize your personal settings in the My Info section. You can customize your contact information, your time zone, your password, and your upload and download alerts.

Changing Your Time Zone

1. Sign in to the SmartVault Portal.
2. Click the profile icon on the top right of the screen.

3. Click My Info.

4. From the Time Zone menu, select your time zone.

5. Click Save Changes.

Updating Your Contact Information

You can update your first and last name, email address, and phone number.

1. Sign in to the SmartVault Dashboard.
2. Click the profile icon on the top right of the screen.

3. Click My Info.

4. Update your contact information as needed, and then click Save Changes

Changing Your Password

1. Sign in to the SmartVault Dashboard.
2. Click the profile icon on the top right of the screen.

3. Click Manage Password.

4. Enter your current password, your new password, and then confirm your new password. 

Note: Click SHOW if you want to view your password, and HIDE if you want to hide it. 

5. Select the Revoke all apps checkbox if you want to remove your access to all your third party apps. You will need to connect them to your account again.

6. Click Save Changes.

Managing Your Upload/Download Notifications

For vaults or folders that you choose to monitor, you can select how frequently you want to receive receive upload and download email notifications. 

Each licensee (user, client, or guest) controls how frequently they will receive upload or download notifications. The default is once a day at 9:00 AM. 

1. Sign in to the SmartVault Dashboard.
2. Click the profile icon on the top right of the screen.

3. Click Notification Settings.

4. Under Upload Email Notifications and/or Download Email Notifications, select the frequency with which you want to receive notifications. 

5. Click Save Changes
