Customizing Your SmartVault User Settings

GENERAL USER

You can customize various user settings in SmartVault, such as your contact information, time zone, password, and alerts.

Accessing the Settings Page

  1. Sign in to the SmartVault Portal.
  2. Access the Settings page:
    • For most plans: Click the initials at the top right corner of the page, and then select Settings.

    • For Standard Plan users: Click the Profile icon at the top right corner of the page.

Editing Your Contact Information

You can update your first and last name, email address, and phone number.

  1. Access the Settings page.
  2. Under User Settings, click My Info.
  3. Update your contact information as needed.  
  4. Click Save Changes.

Changing Your Time Zone

  1. Access the Settings page.
  2. Under User Settings, click My Info.
  3. Go to Time Zone and select your time zone from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click Save Changes.

Changing Your Password

  1. Access the Settings page.
  2. Under User Settings, click Manage Password.
  3. Enter your Current password.
  4. In the Password box, enter the new password and re-enter it in the Confirm password box. 
  5. (Optional) Select the Revoke all apps checkbox to remove access to all third-party apps. You will need to reconnect them to your account
  6. Click Save Changes.

Managing Your Upload and Download Notifications

You can tailor the upload and download notifications frequency for your folders and vaults. By default, the frequency is once a day at 9:00 AM. 

  1. Access the Settings page.
  2. Under User Settings, click Notification Settings.
  3. Under Upload Email Notifications and Download Email Notifications, select the frequency you want to receive notifications. 
  4. Click Save Changes
