We are announcing our first feature release voted on by our customers via SmartVault Ideas Portal.

Shared Folder Indicator

The feature offers the ability to know when a folder is shared with your clients/customers. A unique icon makes it easier to identify when your clients have access to a folder in the Client's vault. This feature is a folder level setting and is available for the Connected Desktop and Dashboard.

More clarity in template selection when creating new customer engagement

We have consolidated the Select Template and New Engagement menus in a new option called Client Engagement. With this option, we made it easier to select the right template that you need all in one simple user interface.

The phone number on Salesforce account to be pushed to SmartVault

This feature update now allows for a phone number to be passed from the Salesforce account and entity record to the SmartVault client details.

  

What was fixed?

Message to display when uploading files larger than 2MB to SmartVault via Salesforce

Now when you upload files larger than 2MB via Salesforce integration to SmartVault, you will get alerted with a message that reads: "Due to Salesforce limits, file size cannot exceed 2MB. Your current file size is XXXX MB. You can always upload larger files via the SmartVault Desktop application or the portal."

 

Behavior across all clickable links in Home page

Now all clickable links on the Home page have the same behavior to keep the user experience consistent.

When you change your View Preferences setting to the Dashboard View, clicking on the Dashboard icon from the left navigation will display the Dashboard view instead of the Files and Folders view.

When you change your View Preferences setting to the Dashboard View, clicking on the masthead logo will display the Dashboard view instead of the new Home page.

Ability to load Client in Dashboard to which tax engagements have been removed

The details of the Client who has had a tax engagement removed will now load successfully instead of displaying the "Object not found" error.

Enabling tooltip when hovering over the user icon on the new Home page

When you hover over the user icon on the new Home page, you will get a tooltip with the username/email.

 

Behavior on hovering over "Switch back to legacy view" link

When you hover over the "Switch back to the legacy view" link on the new Home page, the cursor will change to the hand icon that indicates a clickable field.

The close button for the "Just Released!" banner shown in Internet Explorer 11

When using Internet Explorer 11, the close button for the "Just Released!" banner is now displaying correctly–in the right place with the correct size.

Displaying the icon and title of the page in the browser tab for the new home page

When using the new Home page, the icon and the title of the page displays correctly in the browser tab.

"Contact SmartVault" link in Sign In page

Clicking on the "Contact SmartVault" link on the sign-in page will redirect you to the correct SmartVault Contact Us page instead of the page with the "File not found" error.

Display of Client ID in the Connected Desktop for Clients created in the Dashboard

When creating clients manually in the Dashboard, their Client IDs will display correctly in the Connected Desktop.

User experience improvement by resolving the "Padding is invalid and cannot be removed" error

The commonly encountered error by many Connected Desktop users "Padding is invalid and cannot be removed" has now been resolved to improve user experience.
