See only the client assigned to you!
SmartVault is launching the Assign Employees feature, offering you the ability to see only the clients you want or need to manage.
What is new?
All these features are for SmartVault plans: Tax Prep, Accounting, and SmartVault for Business 2020.
The feature allows any SmartVault user to filter, receive notifications, and manage their subset of clients.
With this feature, we are expanding the options of who can be an assigned user.
- Assign specific clients to Account Administrators and Employees.
- Non-Clients and Non-Guests will also appear as Available employees in the Assign employees dialog; hence they can be assigned as Firm Manager or Firm Employee.
Assigned employees can only see and manage the folders and client lists of their assigned clients.
As an administrator or account employee, you can use My Clients filter to see only those clients you want and need to manage.

Integration with Lacerte Tax Year 2020
SmartVault supports the Lacerte integration for the Tax Year 2020.

Ready to Send panel in the new Home page based on Locale and Geo
The system can now distinguish the user based on their Locale and renders the correct links in the Ready to Send panel.
Client Questionnaire is the right option for UK-based users.
What was fixed?
Experience for Assigned Employee when working with assigned clients
Now assigned employees can work on the clients they are assigned to without getting the "Access Denied" error.
Correct display of Client List after assigning clients to Assigned Employee
When Assigned Employees have clients assigned, clicking on the Clients button on the left navigation will open the Client List page correctly with no error.
Proper icon to display when selecting a folder where permission cannot be determined
When accessing a folder where permissions are unable to acquire, the folder displays with the proper icon.
