What is new?

Option for using an alternative process to manage locked files

The new option allows SmartVault to use an improved method for managing locked files in the SmartVault Connected Desktop.

Steps to enable it

  1. Access your SmartVault User Settings from the SmartVault Launchpad.

  2. Navigate to the Advanced tab, enable the Opt out of Restart Manager checkbox under File Usage Detection, and click OK.

  3. Restart the SmartVault Connected Desktop. 

Support for Intuit Lacerte TY21 Edition

SmartVault supports the Lacerte integration for the Tax Year 2021.

SmartVault supports the ProSeries integration for the Tax Year 2021.

What was fixed?

User experience improvement by resolving the "Access Denied" error when uploading files to the Connected Desktop

The commonly encountered error when uploading files to the Connected Desktop, "Access Denied," has been resolved to improve user experience.

Upload PDFs printed from Lacerte 2021 to the Connected Desktop

Customers can now upload PDFs printed from Lacerte 2021 to the SmartVault Connected Desktop with no issues.
