Printing or Routing Tax Returns to SmartVault from ProConnect

ACCOUNTING PLAN USER

Once your ProConnect–SmartVault integration is established, you can send finalized tax returns and supporting documents directly from ProConnect into SmartVault. This article walks you through how to print (or export) returns to SmartVault and confirm the results.

The following video walks you through Printing Tax Returns from ProConnect Tax Online.

Before You Begin

Before you begin, make sure that:

  • Your integration between ProConnect and SmartVault is already connected (see Integrating ProConnect Tax Online with SmartVault).
  • Each client record in ProConnect Tax Online includes an email address on the client profile. The email address is required to match and identify clients between systems.
  • You have a tax return open in ProConnect Tax Online and ready to print or export.

  Note

When you print or route a return from ProConnect, the integration will automatically create a new client in SmartVault if one does not already exist, using the client’s email address from ProConnect.
