You will receive the message "No Network Connection" from the SmartVault tray icon if the SmartVault Desktop application cannot connect to the internet.
You may also see several of the icons in the Launchpad are grey and unresponsive.
To fix this issue you first look at a few possible reasons SmartVault may be unable to connect to the internet:
- Are you able to connect to other internet services? ex. google.com, email, etc. If not, please contact your ISP or IT desktop for assistance in restoring your network connectivity.
- Do you use any anti-virus or firewall applications that could be blocking SmartVault?
- Has your IT dept blocked network access to the SmartVault Service?
