Saving a File Without Its Properties

GENERAL USER

When you transfer a file from an external folder to Smart Vault, Interrupted Actions may appear asking you to confirm you want to copy a file without its properties.

You can save files without their properties and your file will not be affected. You will lose the additional information (metadata) about the file from third-party services, such as DropBox, but not any parts of the file.

If you want to save the file, select Do this for all current items (if applicable) and click Yes. Your file will appear in SmartVault just as it normally would. Otherwise, click Skip or Cancel to return to the SmartVault portal without saving your document.
