When scanning a letter-sized document, the document image displays as if it was scanned as a legal-sized document, the actual image is reduced, and when the image is printed, the document is too small to read.
This issue may occur on specific scanners where the scanner does not seem to respond well to the Auto settings specified by default in the Options field on the Scanners tab in the SmartVault User Options dialog box.
Resolving This Issue
1. Right-click the SmartVault icon in your system tray and sign in to SmartVault.
2. Right-click the SmartVault icon in your system tray again, and then click Options.
3. On the Scanners tab, select your scanner from the drop-down list.
4. Click Advanced.
5. In the Page Size field, choose US Letter from the drop-down list.
6. Click Close.
