When attaching a document to a QuickBooks entry using the SmartVault Toolbar, you might encounter the following error:

Error:

Object is not valid and cannot be saved. The value 'Name' is too long displays when you are trying to attach a document to a QuickBooks entry using the SmartVault Toolbar. 

Possible cause:

• The name of the document you are trying to attach to a QuickBooks entry is longer than 75 characters.

Resolving The Error

1. Locate the Document:
   • Find the document you are trying to attach.
2. Rename the Document:
   • Right-click on the document and select Rename.
   • Change the document name to contain less than 75 characters.
3. Attach the Document:
   • Retry attaching the newly renamed document to the QuickBooks entry using the SmartVault Toolbar.
