You can upload or drag and drop documents up to 2GB from your computer to a folder in the SmartVault Portal.
Note
You can also upload files using your iOS device or from a file-sharing app like Dropbox or Google Drive.
Uploading a File from Your Computer
- Sign in to the SmartVault Portal.
- Navigate to the folder where you want to upload the file.
- Click Upload file.
- Click inside the drag and drop area to open your computer’s file explorer.

You can also drag and drop files to Upload file here.
- Select the document(s) you’d like to upload and click Open.
- Click Save to upload your files to the selected folder.
Dragging Files into SmartVault
To drag and drop your files into your SmartVault folders:
- Sign in to the SmartVault Portal.
- Navigate to the folder where you want to upload the file.
- Select and drag the file(s) you want to upload from your computer to the folder.
Important
Drag and drop is available with the latest versions of supported browsers (Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Internet Explorer 11 or later).
