How Docdown Works

Upload your File
You can upload any file; Docdown will automatically convert it to PDF.
- If you upload a PDF file with fillable forms, they will be imported automatically.
Docdown supports these file types:
- .doc
- .docx

Customize your Document Fields
You can use the drag-and-drop Document Editor to draw fields over your documents and customize their appearance. The editor allows you to test how your customers see the generated form visually.
Once you customize the fields, the document is ready to be added to your automation process.

Docdown converts your customized documents to PDF templates you can reuse as needed.
Set Up the Workflow
You can use the visual Workflow Editor to create a sequence of steps to define your custom document automation process—from generation to delivery. You can trigger the workflow from webhooks, API, or by filling out the online form (PDF document).
